DELULU is operated by Vii Dohtem Ltd (company number 15452820), registered at 110 Milford Hill, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP1 2QL, United Kingdom. Using the app means agreeing to these terms.

You must be 18 or over. You need to give a date of birth before you can become Findable, and giving a false one is a breach of these terms as well as being a spectacularly bad idea on an app that introduces you to strangers.

One account per person. Do not pretend to be somebody else, and do not create an account on behalf of anybody else.

This is the part that matters more than the rest of this document put together.

DELULU introduces you to people nearby. It does not verify who they are. There is no background check, no identity check, and a Match means only that two people both tapped a button. Somebody being on DELULU tells you nothing about whether they are safe to meet.

Whether and how you meet anyone is entirely your decision. If you do:

• Meet somewhere public the first time.
• Tell somebody you trust where you are going and who with.
• Make your own way there and back.
• Leave whenever you want to, for any reason or none.

If somebody makes you uncomfortable, block them. It works in both directions and immediately: no more Waves, no Matches, no messages, and neither of you appears to the other again. Report them too, so a moderator can act. A Chaperone is a real person from DELULU you can talk to, and they are always identified as staff, never disguised as an ordinary user.

If you are in danger, contact the police on 999. DELULU is not an emergency service and cannot help in that moment.

Do not use DELULU to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk or abuse anybody.
• Send sexual content to somebody who has not asked for it.
• Impersonate anybody, or pretend to be an age you are not.
• Advertise, recruit, solicit money, or run a scam.
• Share anybody’s private information, including screenshots of conversations.
• Break the law, or encourage anybody else to.
• Scrape the service, automate it, or try to get at data that is not yours.

Ignoring somebody is always allowed. Not waving back, not replying and blocking are all ordinary uses of the app, and nobody is owed an explanation.

What you write and the photographs you upload remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them for the purpose of running the service, which is what allows your messages to reach the person you sent them to.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share. We can remove content that breaks these terms.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk, and we may do it without warning where somebody’s safety is involved. If you think we have got it wrong, write to us and say so.

You can close your own account at any time, for any reason.

DELULU is in development. It may be unavailable, it may lose data, and features may change or disappear. It is provided as it is, without any promise that it will suit a particular purpose.

We do not promise that anybody will be nearby, that anybody will wave back, or that any meeting will be a good one.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Beyond that, we are not liable for what other people do, on the app or in person, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.

If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top is when this version was published.
